{Wedding Day} Laura + Niko
Laura and Niko got married today! Winter weddings in Minnesota always have a mixture of hope and dread; you hope for beautiful snow covered landscapes but dread the potential subzero temps or snowstorms! Laura and Niko were no different. Although they couldn't have been more calm and collected about any potential wedding day weather mishaps, a perfect winter day was definitely in the "hope" column. Today's "high" temps and snow dusted just enough for a wintery effect, seemed to fit just right for the day's events.
Laura was simply stunning in a lace Jasmine Bridal gown! Her cathedral length veil with blusher was made by her mom! It was so beautiful with the lace adorned edges and of course, anything made by mom is always better. After a sweet first look and portraits it was time to tie the knot, literally! With sun shining through the chapel windows, Laura and Niko got married at Our Lady of Victory Chapel on St. Kate's campus in Saint Paul. Fantastic details and architecture of not only the chapel, but the attached buildings, made it easy to be stuck inside for most of the photos. After sealing the deal with a kiss we made our way to the Stonebrooke Golf Club for dinner and dancing and celebrating this wonderful couple! Tons of laughters and cheer and just pure enjoyment as everyone celebrated today's happy events.

You find the most glorious areas in the most mundane locations sometimes (aka the admissions offices)! It was the perfect spot to capture classic portraits and have a little fun with our surroundings!
Cakewalk provided the classic tiered cake with sheet cakes in the back waiting to be served... I was maybe a little too excited to have their cake again! Totally worth taking a piece home on a paper towel!
Niko's best man, and brother, provided an incredibly personable-belly-laugh speech! Perfect comedic timing as well as heartfelt sentiments. I definitely feel like I know Niko a lot better ;)
Laura and Niko as individuals seem to define kindness; as a pair, their genuine love and caring nature for their family and friends is infectious! I am so happy to have been there for their very special day and to know this couple a little bit more now!
