Wedding Day//Marie+Matt

September is over! How that happened so fast, I do not know. But it ended on a great note... Matt and Marie got married! They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on the beautiful grounds of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. It could not have been a better day for an outdoor ceremony. Matt and Marie wanted their day to be simple and fun! Surrounded by family and their nearest and dearest, their ceremony was in a quaint nook of the arboretum's gardens. The father of the groom was their officiant adding personal touches to the lovely ceremony. Once hitched, Matt and Marie were sprinkled with flower petals from their guests and a brass quartet, Brasszilla, filled the air with music.

Everyone gathered for family photos and we utilized the main area of the gardens as much as possible, or as much as our couple would let us! They were ready to let loose and have fun with their guests. Additional guests arrived to enjoy the party-end of things in the arboretum's event space. Marie's father started dinner off by welcoming guests and bringing tears to just about everyone as he sang a song to his daughter and Matt. So sweet!

Bellagala provided music for the evening and was a fantastic announcer for Matt's big surprise-- Nordy, Minnesota Wild's beloved mascot! Marie surprised her new husband with Nordy as they both have a deep devotion to the Wild and it was even one of their first dates! Matt's jaw dropped has Nordy literally blasted his way through the reception doors. I heard him repeatedly say that it was 'cool as hell' with ear to ear smiles! Kudos to Marie! Guests flocked and took lots of photo ops. I made sure that Nordy started the dance for the evening, and it was awesome! That mascots got moves! It was a really fun and unique way to get the party started!

Guests, young and old, filled the dance floor from start to finish! Some of the littles were workin' it! Conversation, cookies and cake from Buttercream were also being enjoyed! Matt and Marie, I think you nailed it on getting your fun and stress free day!
